A Little Wild, A Lot of Love | The Verhey Family
The last time I photographed this beautiful crew, little Reyne was still tucked away safely in his mum’s tummy. Fast forward to now, and here he is — full of life, personality, and keeping everyone on their toes.
Photographing another photographer’s family always comes with a few extra nerves. They understand what goes into creating beautiful images, which somehow makes you want to nail it even more. But as always, real life had other plans — and honestly, I'm so glad it did.
This session felt a little more chaotic than our last. There were a few tears, a busy little toddler with absolutely no interest in sitting still, and every intention of exploring the world on his own terms.
But that's where the magic lives.
In the cuddles after the tears. In the laughter that follows the chaos. In the little hands reaching for mum and dad. In the moments that can't be posed or planned.
Because this is what family life actually looks like. It's messy, unpredictable, loud, beautiful, and fleeting all at the same time.
