It’s not all about the smiles or getting to say “cheese.”

Its about connection and moments. I capture your little family having fun together, loving each other, running around playing games with them, kissing them, throwing them in the air, exploring and letting their personality shine through.

Let me tell you a bit about myself... I've been snapping shots of families for over 13 years now. But you know what really fueled my passion? Having my own kids and realizing how important it is to capture those moments that just zoom by. Being a mom drives me to document every adorable stage of our little ones' lives. It's all about the joy and fun of preserving those memories!

Golden hour is best……

All family sessions are taken 1 hour before sunset, when the light is golden, soft and dreamy. This can be anywhere from 4pm in the winter months to 7.30pm when daylight savings hit and we are in the peek of summer. I have also done sunrise sessions which can be just as beautiful.

If you have a young family I get your nerves about booking a session so late in the evening in the summer months. But with some rest on the day, maybe a later nap you might be suprised. I usually find they are distracted by being in a new location being outdoors and exploring. With children we run the risk of tantrums or grumpy kids even in the middle of the day. Its always a risk.

If your still concerened about the time book your session in when its not daylight savings or considering an in-home session.

There is no pressure to be perfect. So let go of any expectations, enjoy the being with your people and trust that I will capture the magic.

Motherhood session

I bet your phones are filled with photos of your kids and your partner and your never in them.

This is your chance to get behind the lens and be intimate with your little loves. A chance to bond, kiss,  squeeze and cuddle them.

Do not wait till you fit back into your pre baby jeans. Do it now. You will never regret the photos you take.

Heart & Home Session

Have you ever found yourself in the middle of a simple, everyday moment with your children and wished someone could capture it forever? Maybe you're painting with your child, and they give you a sweet kiss, or you're picking flowers in the garden, baking your favourite cookies, piggy back rides in your backyard or just enjoying a spontaneous cuddle on the bed. My Heart and Home sessions are designed for these very moments. It's all about you and your little ones, at home, doing what you love as a family and creating memories together. And while you’re cherishing these times, I'll be in the background, taking the perfect shot, a moment in time frozen and one you'll be thankful for when you send your kids off to university.
