It’s as if the safest place in all the world is his arms. It’s how a mother looks at their newborn, pleading for them to know they will forever be a soft place for them to fall. And the way a sibling brushes their cheek gently and then looks back up to make sure they did it right? So peaceful, so new, so perfect. It’s the first time they look back at you. How their fingers wrap around yours. It’s celebrating all of those firsts. They grow so quickly through the haze of days that also seem long.

What to expect.


I capture the beautiful moments of love between parents and their precious newborn with simplicity and fun! These sessions are all about the genuine interactions within the family. I can capture cuddles on the bed, adorable moments in the baby's nursery, sweet kisses from siblings, feeding time, or even the soothing rhythm of rocking the baby to sleep. Time really does fly, and before you know it your little one won't fit snuggled under your chest anymore.

The best part is, these sessions take place in the comfort of your own home, without the need for props or formal posing. We can make use of the nursery, master bedroom, or living room, depending on where we can find the most beautiful natural light. Let's create authentic and heartfelt memories that reflect the love and joy within your family!

How to prepare for the day.

 

Once you have booked your session we will connect and chat about what & how to prepare for the day. For ease, I will share with you my Newborn & Family shoot preparation guideline which will answer all of those questions you may have, covering what to wear, timings, feeding, a reminder not to clean the house as it wont matter and we will touch on safety and what to expect from the shoot.
